Movies, movies....So live and learn, lesson earned. The programming leader, who also is an expert estate sale shopper, has been collecting less offensive options to watch. Some are on VHS, and our talented peops here have been able to make showing a VHS happen, so that's good. Another member donated her DVDs when she downsized and Lordy- they are classic! Mrs. Miniver classic, I'm telling you.
The first time one of the oldie goldies showed on the screen, you could actually feel time moving backwards, and Mercury wasn't even in retrograde!. The faces and the feelings in that room were wonderful. I thought how neat that must be to remember watching some of these for the first time, years and years ago in the movie theater when tickets were a dime, and popcorn got along with the digestion and when coke had real sugar in it. Man.....
